The Venue

The Acoustic Tearoom is located at The Masonic Hall, North Road, Kirkby Stephen, Cumbria, (we moved the venue back end of 2007) in the beautiful Eden Valley. We started our live music evenings some years ago with some dear friends who were in the music business, and as a result have met some lovely people in the process, without whom none of this would have been possible.

It is an ideal venue for the up close and acoustic artists who take a pride in their craft and who love an intimate atmosphere with their audience, this makes for a very special evening.

The evenings are held once maybe twice a month and start at 6.30pm/7.7.00pm. We provide a home cooked supper, with a choice of two main courses including a vegetarian option followed by a choice of four puddings, all prepared and cooked by Penny!!

We have a two types of ticket now so you can have the meal and show @ £22 or show only @ £12. We start serving food at 7.00pm and finish at 8.00pm with the gig starting at 8.30pm. The show and meal ticket includes coffee in the interval.

Some of the artists that have performed at our spot over the years include Vin Garbutt, Acoustic Strawbs, Boo Hewerdine, Helen Watson, Kieran Halpin, Show of Hands, James Keelaghan, Colum Sands and many more.
